The Mysterious Pomelo
The idea of one single pomelo got me thinking a lot.
My mom is a devoted Buddhist and she always has her own shrine at home where she places the statues of all the gods she worships. The offerings she places on the shrine are mostly fruits and flowers. While roses, orchids, lilies and chrysanthemums are the most meaningful flowers, apples, grapes, bananas, pineapples, oranges and pomelos are the most auspicious fruits.
